Marcela is finally starting to resurface after two years of creative retreat. The Skyfall songbird most recently appeared at her husband’s [Trey Hillstrom - Wolfman] side at this year’s Grammys where he was nominated twice for Best Music Video and won for Pharrell’s “Happy”. While Marcela was explicit in her intention in not talking about her junior album, it seems as though this international holiday of love has inspired her to sing in public for the first time in years.

On a date with close girlfriends in London, Marcela was invited to sing impromptu with only a guitarist as her accompaniment. A semi-drunk Marcela divulged she was not in the Valentine’s Day mood at all but proceeded to sing Jack White’s “Steady As She Goes” off her mobile. The crowd was completely captivated by the intimate performance and the venue became a boisterous party after Marcela's performance.
