Marcela announced her new album 25 in a blog post that gave fans insight to her three year hiatus. Today, she released the music video for "Hello" - the first track off her highly anticipated album. The beautifully shot video was directed by in-demand artist Trey Hillstrom (Wolfman), who has worked with artists like Lana Del Rey, Drake, Rihanna and Pharrell. Marcela and Trey Hillstrom eloped a year ago, finding new love after their own brutally emotional albums The Golden Age and 21 reached millions.

"I gave Trey the complete song and told him that I needed him to direct the video," Marcela said in a statement. "It has been years, you know. It's been years since I have put myself out there for people to hear and see me. I feel a responsibility to put out the best work I possibly can, and there's so much pressure. Nevertheless, I was absolutely fine when it came to doing the video because I had my husband with me the entire time. He's the best at what he does, so a lot of that weight and dread was lifted off my shoulders because I trust his vision."

Marcela also had her first interview about the track and her album on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 radio show. While the link is no longer available, the British singer talked about the possibility of touring and how 25 will probably be the last record she names after her age. "When you think about it, 19, 21 and 25 was like a journey for me. A trilogy of heartbreak, love and reaching adulthood."

25 is out November 20 via XL Recordings. According to previous reports, the new record features collaborations with Tobias Jesso Jr., Max Martin, Danger Mouse, Ryan Tedder, and potentially Damon Albarn. Ariel Rechtshaid has also said that he "did a couple songs" for the album.

Update: The video for "Hello" has officially broken Vevo's record for most views in twenty-four hours. Marcela's music video gained 23.2 million views in a day. Taylor Swift previously held the record with 20.1 million views for her video "Bad Blood".
