ONTD: Oh No They Didn't!

Marcela will be featured in next month's Vogue. The magazine previewed a tidbit of her interview online where she reflects on her marriage, another Bond theme song and her new string of mystery songs that have leaked on the internet.

On her string of new songs: “They weren't necessarily gifts to the fans, I hate to say! I tend to be inspired in the most inconvient times. I'm motivated to express myself whenever my feelings are on extreme spectrums. It has to come out one way or the other, but I am glad it has satiated some anxiousness in regards to new music on my end.”

On her husband: “We don’t have any plans to work together in the near future, no. He is currently working on an album with Lykke Li, which is an interesting choice. I am certain that Trey [Wolfman]’s insight and depth will open a lot of doors for Lykke Li in terms of creating a wider audience. That's the kind of talent he offers. He makes you step your game up, and if you are a sub par act it shows when you're working alongside him. He’s got his own thing out in LA and is working really hard, so one can only hope that all the secrecy and hours put into the studio is worth it in the end.”

On moving to Los Angeles: “It's not happening. I was in Los Angeles solely to support my husband for the Grammy’s. I have no intention to move out to California, it’s just not my kind of place.”

On another Bond theme: “Who knows. I’ve got ideas, but this is a collective project. I want it to be right, especially after Skyfall was received so well. To be asked to send in demos for a second go-around at this is such an honour. I’ve always wanted to be a Bond girl, but I cannot act to save my life so singing the theme is the next best thing."
